The Introduction of the Secured Transaction Reform in RA
USAID Finance for Economic Development (FED) Program jointly with the World Bank, the RA Ministry of Justice, the Central Bank, the Unions of Banks and Credit Organizations organize a conference about "The introduction of secured transaction reform in the Republic of Armenia" which will take place at Marriott hotel, "Tigran Mets" hall on 3rd of April and aims to have dialogue with interested organizations and provide the necessary information on the introduction specifics of the secured transaction reform in RA.
The representatives from the USAID and World Bank Missions in Armenia, the Central Bank, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Union of Banks, the Union of Credit Organizations, SME Development National Center of Armenia, financial institutions, business associations, institutons supporting SMEs development and from other interested organizations will participate in the conference.
There will be presented the concept of secured transactions and movable collateral registeries, the international practice, the importance of the introduction of secured transactions' system in Armenia, the specifics of the legislation, the impact of introduction of the secured transactions reform in terms of improvement of access to finance and so on. The particpants will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their views on upcoming reforms.
